Already home to Ciao Napoli Pizzeria, The Boiler Room, and an outlet of Marcello’s, Logan Square isn’t exactly in dire need of a new pizzeria. That said, the announcement of Dante’s Pizzeria does sound very interesting, as it will be run by some veterans of the pizza tossing game. Time Out reports that Georg Simos, the owner of The Rocking Horse, is teaming up with some former employees of Santullo’s and Piece. It will definitely be much more like the former than the latter; the BYOB joint will mostly do take-out and delivery, with just a few tables to dine in. Simos plans to open in the former Atlas Café space sometime in late July. [TOC]
