The Absinthe team’s new New Orleans off-shoot in the former Citizen Cake space, Boxing Room, finally has an official opening date: June 16. We showed you the draft menu a bit ago, and following some typical delays and such, they assure us that next week is the week. Chef Justin Simoneaux and pastry chef Bill Corbett will be cooking up some classic Louisiana fare just in time for the season finale of Treme, but we think that’s purely coincidental.
