Off the Grid may have made its way to Berkeley, but North Oakland ain’t about to get left out of the food truck scene. Another gathering of food trucks and carts, Bites on Broadway, launched Friday at Oakland’s Tech High School (Broadway and 45th Street), and will repeat every Friday evening throughout the warmer months, until late October. As Oakland North reports, vendors will rotate, but the main list is El Taco Bike, Guerrilla Grub, 51st State, Sue’s Sassy Pies, Go Streatery, Fist of Flour Pizza Company, Vesta Flatbread, Tina Tamale, Boffo and the Grilled Cheese Guy.
