There’s still no word on the name of the place, but Bernalwood has a bit of intel on the replacement restaurant for the recently shuttered and somewhat legendary Bernal Heights diner, Al’s Café Good Food (3286 Mission Street). The word is that the new chef comes from the hotel biz, they’re restoring one of the original murals in the place that had been somewhat obscured, and they’re aiming to open this week. [Bernalwood]
