While the superstitious amongst us spend today worrying about black cats and broken mirrors while sidestepping ladders, the good folks at Grey Lodge Pub are gearing up for the latest edition of their Friday the Firkinteenth celebrations. It’s the only one for 2011! And this time around, the tappings won’t start until 12 noon (as opposed to the usual 9 a.m.), but as expected, they have some serious, scarce and very special cask conditioned ales — more than 25 at last count — lined up. Some highlights include a maple syrup-infused Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA, a bourbon barrel-aged Scarlet Lady ESB from Stoudts and an oak-aged ESB with vanilla beans from River Horse. Below is the full list of casks being tapped today.
