Jean Marc Houmard, Michael Callahan, and Huy Chi Le, the team behind Indochine, are certainly in an expansive mode. Weeks after signing a lease on the old Acme space at 9 Great Jones Street, the trio, along with Jonathan Morr, their partner in Republic and BONDST, have their eye on the space at 189 Spring Street (just a block from the Dutch) that was Rheon Café until that closed in March. “We want to do something Asian, BONDST meets Indochine,” revealed Morr, who said if all goes well the space could open by summer’s end.
