Funny we were just talking about mobster hangouts. According to the Post, Ozone Park institution Don Peppe (where “Fat Tony” Rabito was a customer before his probation) is coming to lower Manhattan. Owner John De Luca, whose family has run the red-sauce joint for over a century, says he hopes to open “a high-end version of Don Peppe with a lounge on one side and a bar on the other,” maybe near the Gansevoort Hotel. Also look for Turtle to try to open a Hollywood outpost during this upcoming season of Entourage.
