A petition is being circulated after the NYPD went and shut down Max Fish for underage drinking and serving after-hours last Friday, in a raid similar to the ones recently conducted against Lower East Side neighbors GalleryBar, Los Feliz, and Mason Dixon. The petition complains about a “community that is increasingly threatened by a variety of outside sources including landlords, real-estate developers and the NYPD.”
