We’ve just received more information on Venice’s forthcoming Moon Juice and, Urban Dictionary be damned, it turns out the place has much more to do with fresh fruits and nut milk than Werewolf intestinal disorders. The storefront is owned and operated by Amanda Chantal Bacon, who many of you may recall as a talented writer, former assistant food editor at The L.A. Times, and general person of interest. Bacon’s plan is to feature cold-pressed raw juices for sale alongside a nut milk bar. According to a rep with the new company, the juices will be hydraulically extracted and bottled though the day, while The Moon Milk bar will makes blends of nut milks and butters, spices, natural sweeteners, and ripe fruits.
