East Passyunk Ave.’s Abruzzese-obsessed Le Virtu will open its gorgeous campo (that’s Italian for outdoor space) with a party tonight from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. And they couldn’t have picked a better day to do it! Tables will be set up on the well-manicured grass lot next to the restaurant where Chef Joe Cicala and his sous chef Massimo Conocchioli will serve guests a variety of Abruzzese-inspired specialties, including arrosticini, grilled lamb skewers, olive all’ascolana, fried olives stuffed with braised pork, and pizza fritta. Roast suckling pig, which will be in regular rotation every Friday through autumn, will surely be the star attraction. In addition to the food and splendor of the outdoors, the $45 for tonight’s feast includes seasonal beer selections from Sly Fox, Weyerbacher and Ommegang.
