Currently Falafill has just one location in Lakeview, which it opened back in the summer of 2009. But the company has some pretty big plans on the way. In June, the restaurant will launch a monthly guest chef collaboration, where a respected chef will create his or her own wrap, and $1 from each one sold will be donated to charity. First up is Stephanie Izard, who spent a few minutes yesterday fine tuning her wrap with co-owner Maher Chebaro. It features hummus, falafel, shaved Brussels sprouts salad, shallot aioli, and yuzu harissa. This monthly feature will run for the rest of the year, and we have a list below of a few of the other chefs that are definitely participating. But that’s not all the exciting news for the shop.

Chicago Magazine reports that co-owners, Maher Chebaro and Nemer Ziyad, just signed the lease for a second location in Oak Park, which they hope to open in three months. We also have word that they are planning on opening at least three more outlets by the end of the year. That’s fast!

In the meantime, check out the chef schedule below.

June: Stephanie Izard of Girl & the Goat, raising money for Share Our Strength.
Classic hummus, classic falafel, shaved Brussels sprouts salad, shallot aioli, yuzu harissa.

July: Mark Steuer of The Bedford, raising money for Green City Market.

August: Chuy Valencia of Chilam Balam, raising money for Latino Scholarship Fund.
Roasted corn falafel, spicy lime-arbol chile aioli, chunky heirloom tomato molcajete salsa, housemade Oaxacan style string cheese, grilled green onion.
