Don’t worry, when Tom McCusker — he of Honest Tom’s Taco Truck infamy — makes his move to bricks and mortar in August, it shouldn’t disrupt his awesome tacos supply chain. In fact, if anything the shift to a permanent static location will actually double the opportunity to scarf Honest Tom’s. Naked Philly reports that McCusker’s plan is to inhabit the first floor of 261 South 44th Street and serve dinner nightly from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., while still making daytime rounds in the taco truck. Then sometime in the fall, he expects to put the truck on hiatus, while serving breakfast lunch and dinner at the stationary location. Next spring, he will put the truck back out on the streets.
