Highland Park’s York Blvd., best known by local epicureans for its Mexican restaurants, quality bars, dueling taco trucks, and Galco’s museum of soda pop, will soon be getting a French bistro from chef and neighborhood resident James Graham. The toque is taking over storage space at Elsa’s Bakery at Ave. 51 for a restaurant named BÁ that will serve meats procured daily, baguettes baked at Elsa’s, and in the chef’s own words, “old-school french country food. A lot of cassoulets, a lot of really hearty stock based soups, a lot of delicate greens, and a lot of roasts.” [Highland Park Patch]
