Atwater Village: Tony Yanow, of Tony’s Dart Away and forthcoming Mowhawk Bend, is looking to start a brewery and restaurant in three buildings, with plans to produce 100,000 barrels a year. [The Eastsider LA]
Beverly Hills: L.A. Food Show, the restaurant opened by Rick and Larry of California Pizza Kitchen, closed on Thursday, despite having every single edible item ever on its menu. You can still find one in Manhattan Beach. [Eater]

North Hollywood: Soul Daddy can pretty much suck it, as Otis Jackson’s Soul Dog opened on Magnolia for soul food and hot dogs and sounds pretty good. [LAist]

Santa Monica: Ugo has closed up shop at Santa Monica Place for a re-do after less than a year open. [Todd Rick Allen]
Silver Lake: The owner of Cowboys and Turbans is opening a juice and kombucha bar on Sunset tomorrow. Strangely, it appears to be called “Silverlake.” [Eater]
West Hollywood: Surprise surprise, Sante La Brea is becoming a German place called Wirtshaus. Sorta like 3-D movies, by the time Wurstkuche opens in Venice, everyone is going to be way over wieners. [Eater]
