Here’s some good news to start the weekend. Looks like the folks behind Webster’s Wine Bar are planning to open up a new branch in Logan Square. The classic Lincoln Park spot has been around since 1994, and claims to be “Chicago’s oldest and finest wine bar.” Considering the wine bar is named after the street it is located on, we were told that the name would probably change. As for the location, all we were able to glean was that it would be close to the intersection of Milwaukee Ave. and Logan Boulevard. Still, it’s good news for a neighborhood that already has a saloon and a brewery, but not much for the wine geeks. Expect for it to open sometime this summer.
