Big changes afoot in the Castro! In the wake of Grub Street’s news of the coming demise of Ristorante Capri, two more nearby restaurants have given up their leases and closed their doors as of the weekend. The Scoop reports on the closing of Bagdad Café (2295 Market Street), which already has some new owners who plan to reopen under a new name by May, concept/menu TBA — but we can only hope that the place will remain a 24-hour joint, as this town is sorely in need of more of those. Then Eater reports that Fuzio (469 Castro Street) closed over the weekend as well.

A manager at the restaurant’s Embarcadero Center location confirms that the lease was up and they decided not to renew.
