Just before the start of baseball season, Doug Washington (one of the partners in Town Hall and Salt House) offered his design expertise to do a quick remodel of Paragon. It’s now all finished and reopened on schedule, and we have some photos, featuring subway tile, new wood paneling reclaimed from two old barns in Oregon, and some new art courtesy of Washington’s artist wife, Freya Prowe. (See the slightly revamped gastropubby menus from chef Spencer O’Meara here.) The space feels a lot more urban and modern now, and almost like a new restaurant. So, kudos.
