Los Angeles Celebrates Chinese Food

Photo: Los Angeles Magazine

Los Angeles magazine really has its finger on the pulse of what L.A.’s eating with their May issue hitting the stands this week. The issue centers on L.A.’s massive passion for Chinese food, with critic Patric Kuh picking his top ten best places, a guide to navigating the dim sum cart, a feature on Valley Blvd. (let’s hope Sinosoul’s in there!) highlights, and some words from Jeffrey Ross on the Jewish-Chinese food connection (which SinoSoul actually kinda covers today, funnily enough). We haven’t had the chance to pick this one up yet, but it’s certainly timely and if anywhere as splendid as their fall Mexican food issue, it should take its rightful place next to your Thomas Guide GPS. Maybe we can even convince San Fran Chinese food lover “Chill Bill” to pay 400 of our restaurants a visit soon.
