Dude! It’s Boulud Sud!

Daniel Boulud told us what to expect from Epicerie Boulud when it opens on the corner of 64th and Broadway in the first week of May. Before that, on April 15, members of the Culinary Insiders dinner club will get an early look at the market as part of a preview dinner at the neighboring Boulud Sud. According to an invite, the grilled Mediteranean food restaurant will have an “open kitchen, arched ceilings, a dining terrace and artwork by renowned artist, Vik Muniz.” Interesting, but even more revealing is the rendering that came with the invite. The restaurant won’t be quite done on the April 15 — Boulud’s folks have scheduled a “hard hat” tour for the same day, and the recommended attire is “dust proof.” But while everything comes together here’s some more eye candy for you: the market and restaurant’s logos.
