Around the time Tom Colicchio lost Colicchio & Sons executive chef Shane McBride late last year, there had been rumors that Craft’s Damon Wise would also depart. Well, Zagat has gotten word from an inside source that Wise will indeed depart from his executive chef perch — he’s leaving at the end of the month and hopes to open his own place in the fall. No word on who will replace Wise, though Craft chef de cuisine James Tracey is said to be pitching in at both restaurants. [Zagat Buzz]
