London Candy Company Will Replenish Its Supplies in Time for the Royal Wedding

The London Candy Company only soft-opened on the Upper East Side a few weeks ago, but they’re already nearly sold out of sweets! Blimey! But not to worry, chaps: A rep tells us the shop will replenish its extensive Cadbury selection tomorrow, along with sweets from marks like Thornton’s, Nestle, Terry’s, and Mars, not to mention “digestive” cookies, which are just the thing with a spot of tea. Speaking of, tea is on the house all day at the official grand opening this Friday, which coincides with, yep, the royal wedding.

Guests can munch on cucumber sandwiches and have their photos taken with a “princess.” That starts at 7 a.m., but if Jujubes for breakfast don’t appeal to you, you can dig into the selection of pastries for sale. And there’s Stumptown coffee for the non-tea drinkers — wouldn’t want to scare the Yanks too much.
