Bice seems to have come and gone a couple of times in Los Angeles, by our count, but since the town is ripe for the picking of so many exterior outlets these days, it makes sense the restaurant group is coming back with a new concept. Skylight Gardens is currently under construction at the old Gardens of Glendon space, with plans to serve Bice-approved Italian food in a grandly reworked setting that looks like it’s going to be throwing the old tree-in-the-middle-of-the-room trick at us and maybe even an antler chandelier or two. Our prediction? A glammy, corporate-backed Italian in the vein of Fig & Olive. We’ll see in the coming months, as Skylight tries to open before the end of spring.
