There’s still no word yet on what — or even if — Matt Levin will come up with to replace his Kandy Kake sliders. He’s teased the idea of a foie gras-filled Krimpet on Twitter, but we’ll believe that only when we see it. Still with or without a substitute for the dish he devised to save Tasty Baking Co. — that’s before Flower Foods rescued it — Levin plans to pull it from Adsum’s menu after Saturday night. While we await news of new junk food mash-up to materialize, Tommy Up has a temporary stand-in this week at P.Y.T. It’s a miniaturized version of his Krispy Kreme burger.
