What to Eat at Antico, Opening for Dinner Tonight

Bucktown’s Antico opened last week as a cute coffee shop, serving pastries and house-roasted coffee. There’s nothing wrong with another coffee shop opening, but we probably wouldn’t have been that interested had they not promised to eventually roll out a full dinner menu. Turns out that day is today, and we have the menu to prove it. Just as owner Audias Gutierrez mentioned to Chicago Magazine a month ago, it’s an “Old World Italian menu,” which includes such classics as gnocchi, tagliatelle bolognese, and risotto. Of course, he also promised to change the menu constantly, so we don’t expect it to stay the same for too much longer, especially once the farmers’ markets really kick in.
