The folks at Vine Wine, which closed in Long Island City last month, tell us that they’ll reopen the store on the week of April 4 in the former Brooklyn Kitchen space at 616 Lorimer Street. We’re told that this time around, owner Talitha Whidbee will be teaming up with Brooklyn Kitchen and Meat Hook partner Taylor Erkkinen. In addition to offering an array of small-production, old-world, organic, biodynamic, and natural wines, they’ll sell artisanal spirits (think small-batch brandies and barrel-aged rums). Plus, they’ll use the “labs” at Brooklyn Kitchen’s current location for classes, tastings, and talks featuring pairings with Meat Hook products. Oh, and according to Twitter, there’ll be a delivery program!
