The Randolph isn’t quite ready to open that underground music venue we told you about, but the bar does have something more immediate in the works: sidewalk seating. Co-owner Hari Kaylan told Grub Street the Randolph has been approved by the community board for sixteen outdoor seats and just needs the final go-ahead from the Department of Consumer Affairs. As you can see in this blueprint posted on the boîte’s Facebook page, the plan is to have bar stools nestling up to a wraparound railing. Look for that around May.
