Everybody is a little bit Irish on Saint Patrick’s Day, right? Well, not necessarily at Vintage Enoteca. Instead of dying their Semillon green and making corned beef and cabbage flatbreads, the Hollywood wine bar is holding a “Grilled Cheese and Beer” tasting event that starts this Thursday (right around the time that most lightweights are passing out from too many car bombs) and extends through Sunday. The kitchen here will pair four unique grilled cheese sandwiches with four different beers, none of which you see much of in these parts. Among the selections, there’s a ham and gruyere with mustard on pretzel bread alongside Cali’s own La Merle Saison and a gorgonzola with truffle honey on black rye paired appropriately with a British St. Peter’s Stout. Check out the full $30 menu below and make reservations at 323-512-5278.
