It used to be that pot was just about getting high, you know, with various strains hybridized for maximum music enjoyment or couch sitting bliss, as the case may be. But now some local entrepreneurs are marketing edible cannabis products with an emphasis on flavor, all distributed through legal means via medical cannabis dispensaries and delivery services like The Green Cross. As SFoodie reports, from little company Seventh House you’ve got infused Rosemary Jane olive oil and gourmet dark chocolates flavored with things like chiles and toasted quinoa; and an outfit called Incredible Edibles does pot-laced “magic snacks” like imperial spiced rice crackers, and super-spicy nuts. And from Oakland’s Choco-potamus you’ve got super-premium, artisinal chocolate bars. Marijuana: It’s not just for brownies anymore!
