Yesterday, Stinky Bklyn opened a larger location with six taps for growlers — their beer license still hasn’t come through, but they’ll eventually be pouring local and European brews into the usual 64-ounce jugs as well as two sizes of mason jars. Now we discover that Nolita Mart just added jugs: The growler itself is $3.99 and a pour of Captain Lawrence Freshchester Pale Ale is $9.99. They’ll soon be adding another tap (with Kelso), and the beers will be rotated out as soon as the keg runs dry. So Manhattan is catching on to Brooklyn’s growler trend, but when will it get with the mason jar program?
