It’s the restaurant we never thought would open. Masada, which we first heard about way back in 2008, looks like it will finally be opening in Logan Square in June. We’ve been paying attention for so long because it’s going to be the latest project for Shadi Ramli, who also owns Sultan’s Market in Wicker Park. We would have been happy with just another outlet of that very popular restaurant, but Masada will be different. According to Chicago Magazine, the Middle Eastern inspired menu will feature a collection of small plates, freshly baked bread, and even smoothies. It’ll also be huge, with a cobblestone courtyard with “three decks above it,” and space for live bands. When we stopped by yesterday, it looked like they still had some work to do, but at least now it looks like there is a hope of it opening soon. [Chicago Mag]
