Magnolia Owners Accuse Co-Founder of Being Greece-y

This really takes the cake: According to the Post, Steve and Tyra Abrams, who bought Magnolia Bakery in 2007, are suing the bakery’s co-founder, Jennifer Appel, because they say she passed the Magnolia recipes and concept on to a woman who then opened a knockoff store in Athens. Needless to say, the defendants say the charges are “half-baked.” [Page Six/NYP]
