Crocodile Philly, the Old City offshoot of New York’s popular Crocodile Lounge that opened last summer, has closed. A sports bar backed by Eagles Todd Herremans and Brent Celek called 879 is replacing it, the Insider reports. We hope this New York import’s closing doesn’t dim the prospects of the local outpost of Williamsburg’s Barcade that last we heard was going to open in Fishtown this spring. [Insider]
