The first of Jeremy Fox’s vegetable-focused pop-up dinners will be happening sooner than we expected, on March 28, and it will happen at Atelier Crenn with the help of chef Dominique Crenn. As the Scoop reports, the two chefs will alternate courses, and though the menu may not be strictly vegetarian (they’re staying open to meat stocks and such), it will be vegetable-heavy. This dinner will be the first in a series Fox will be doing at various locations, including his private Yountville farm, in conjunction with Hill Family Estate Wines and farmer Peter Jacobsen. The idea is to test out recipes in a pop-up setting as Jeremy embarks on the lengthy process of creating dishes for an upcoming vegetable cookbook. Vegetables used in the kickoff dinner will be from both Jeremy’s farm, and the farm Dominique helped start to feed her restaurant, Gouge Eye Farm near Sacramento.
