Five L.A. Brew Bars Unite for The Inevitable Beer Garden Pop-Up

Given the local popularity of craft beer, beer bars, and pop-ups, we’re a little surprised this didn’t happen sooner. Brand X reports the union of five of L.A.’s craftiest beer bars, Verdugo, Surly Goat, Tony’s Darts Away, Blue Palms, and 38 Degrees for a series of pop-up beer gardens. The five are banding together under the name ColLAboration and hosting a handful of great micro-breweries at each event for a ten-dollar entrance fee. The first event is going down in Burbank on April 9th and could include names like Stone Brewing Co., Craftsman, Russian River, and Eel River, among the many. Ten dollars will buy a special ColLAboration glass to be used at the event, with pours of the brew costing five to six bucks. Somehow, we suspect someone will find a way to throw a food truck or two into this mix.
