Truckin'

Camarena Re-Hits The Road With a Rivera Chef On-Board

Familia Camarena, Gallo’s discounted Jalisco Highlands tequila, is cruising back onto our streets with its taco truck. Last year found Sevan Azarian slinging the free tequila-infused tacos around the city for three months, while this year Camarena is going national with its stops. This year the brand will have three trucks cruising the country, with a prolonged journey through L.A. Helping spread the joy of tacos and tequila, Camarena has tapped Rivera sous chef Jose Briceño to create the truck’s tacos, which should be a treat for the zillions of us who don’t have Rivera dough. This evening, the truck will idle on various Hollywood blocks until 9:00 P.M., with a full schedule of stops planned through May 5th available on Facebook and Twitter.
