Bagatelle and Its Boozy Brunches to Live Again

If the whole Bagatelle-Beaumarchais drama in the Times today has you fretting over where on this island you’ll get your brunch party on, fear not: Grub Street has received word that Bagatelle shall live again! Details are scarce at the moment, but we hear Remi Laba and Aymeric Clemente will reopen their clubby St. Tropez concept somewhere below 14th Street, sometime in the fall. And that’s not all: Word also comes that the always-trendy Bagatelle will hop aboard the pop-up bandwagon, materializing for short, Champagne-filled runs in places like Cannes, Los Angeles, the Hamptons, London, and Dubai over the next few months. If you won’t be summering on the French Riveria, or in any of those other spots, we understand the Oak Room is now a pretty rollicking time on a Sunday Saturday afternoon.

Update: Slightly different from what Grub Street was told earlier, it turns out the London, Dubai, and Los Angeles locations will be brick-and-mortar spaces, while Cannes and the Hamptons are pop-ups.
