The Frontier is set to officially open tonight in Noble Square. The new project is from the same people behind Lotties Pub and The Pony, but this one certainly has its own distinct style. The space is going all out for the Western lodge vibe, complete with loads of exposed wooden beams, rustic chandeliers, and a six foot stuffed bear. You know, because why not? We had a peek at an abbreviated version of the menu last month, but it turns out that the official menu is far bigger than we could have predicted. As befits a “mountain-west themed restaurant and bar” there is a lot of bison, elk, and boar on this menu. Also, considering it is a restaurant opening in 2011, there absolutely had to be oysters.
