Though it’s a tad shaky, a new video from Homaro Cantu is offering the first peek into his upcoming West Loop restaurant, Ing. It showcases a spare room with simple tables, white chairs, and shiny white walls. Also, those strange folded red boxes that journalists were sent last week appear on the tables, which hopefully means that there will be a lot of origami going on at this new restaurant. The video is also oddly framed, with wide black bars on both sides, making it hard to really see much. We first thought that this was simply a mistake, but another picture posted on the restaurant’s Twitter feed is also framed the same way, albeit in landscape mode. Are they trying to tell us something, or does this have anything at all to do with the food? [HomaroCantu/Twitvid]
