Swiss Brewer Makes Rare US Appearance at Fork & Barrel

Tonight Jerome Rebetez, the brains behind the Swiss craft brewery Brasserie Des Franches-Montagnes (BFM), joins Fork & Barrel for a tasting of some of his extraordinarily rare beers and ales. BFM, which brews and hand-bottles small batches of beer at 3,287 ft. above sea level, has earned international acclaim for its use of unconventional ingredients and techniques borrowed from winemaking. The tasting will feature at least four BFM brews — La Douze, Alex le Rouge, La Meule Abbey de St. Bon Chien, and the seldom-seen Abbey de St. Bon Chien Grand Cru Vin Jaune — and a selection of dishes to pair with them.
