OK, truth be told, we’re not the hugest fans of the uni. But hey, lots of people love it, and over at the Guardian Virginia Miller penned a love letter this week to several high-end urchin dishes, including David Bazirgan’s Mendocino uni flan at Fifth Floor, which we’ve yet to try. But now Slice unveils the sea urchin pizza at Cotogna, and we have to draw the line. That’s kind of a lot of those little orange tongues in one place, no? Slice calls it “surprising and intriguing.” Anyway, uni fans, there’s a Cali-politan pizza with your name on it. It’s all yours.
