Yesterday Philebrity started taking nominations for something that its calling The Ten Angriest Places In Philadelphia, and oh boy, you should check out the comments. Surprisingly Fishtown’s Rocket Cat Cafe gets mentioned a lot. Other shockers include the venerable dirt-cheap watering hole McGlincheys, Lorenzo and Son’s Pizza on South Street, which one commenter calls “No! Pizza,” and the typically hospitable Grace Tavern. Not so surprising are nominees J+J Pizza in the Italian Market, the perpetually backed up check-out lines at South Philly’s Acme supermarket and Pat’s and Genos, which one commenter says get angrier when patrons “deviate from the “wiz-wit” mook-ass ordering format.” Sheesh! And here we thought that Genos only took issue with non-English speaking customers. [Philebrity]
