Dana Carvey and Linkin Park are hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, giving us major flashbacks of 1997. Before that goes down, Linkin Park DJ Joe Hahn is bringing his “First Thursday” event back to Melrose on February 3rd in an effort to revitalize this street, which has been hard hit by the economy going kablooey. Hahn has teamed up with his partner in the Melrose store Suru and girlfriend Heidi Woan (from food truck support group Mobi Munch) for Melrose Night, a sexy new police drama starring Don Johnson, a street festival with food trucks like LudoTruck and Nom Nom, promotions at stores, and a party with drinks and DJs at Barracuda. No word on whether controversial new Melrose store FUK U is welcome to the jam, but a current list of trucks and participating stores can be found online.
