These past few months have seen the Khyber remade as a Southern-fried craft beer bar and later a host to a popular pan-Asian pop-up. Tonight, it’s going vegan with a special party for Vegan Cocktails Philly, a booze-and-schmooze for those averse to animal products. On offer are vegan drinks, like Dark Horse Brewing’s Raspberry Ale, and what’s being billed as the Natalie Portman Pucker cocktail, as well as vegan snacks like fried mac and cheese po-boys, and sweet potatoes with toasted pecans, cane syrup and vegan bourbon butter.
