The big show goes up on Sunday so naturally our restaurants were overflowing with celebrities this week. Jay-Z and Lebron partied at Craft, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem hit Gordon Ramsay, Charles Barkley had his birthday at WP24, and Renee Zellwegger stopped in at Starbucks while shedding a few pounds in Santa Monica. A star-filled week of dining was still not enough to topple the town’s reigning reinas of ubiquity: The Kardashians, who still racked up the most attention. There was Kim eating at Nobu and Khloe eating with Lamar at The Lobster. Still not content with the lion’s share of this week’s entertainment press, the whole clan held a birthday party for their dearly departed dad at Armenian mainstay Carousel. They even sang him “happy birthday,” which is kind of creepy. Oh well, whatever it takes to keep the flashbulbs trained on your every move. See where else celebrities chose to dine in L.A. during Oscar week in our celebrity settings column and keep your eyes peeled as the awards approach.
