Food Truck Reaches Compromise With FiDi Restaurants

Winding down their intensive coverage of the JapaCurry saga — which pivoted around an all-out assault by a brick-and-mortar café owner (Alison Rowe of Harvest & Rowe) who didn’t want the truck parked outside her business, SFoodie brings word of a compromise. Though JapaCurry won’t be outside Harvest & Rowe (Rowe won that battle), the truck now has permits to be at 420 Howard, and at Mission and New Montgomery, where police brokered a deal with local restaurants to allow the truck to park one day a week, but not two.
