Fonda Nolita Adds Breakfast Platters and, Soon, Beer

Taco-hawker Fonda Nolita has added a lineup of huevo platters to its morning menu of breakfast tacos. You’ll recognize most of the classic Mexican offerings, from huevos rancheros to huevos divorciados (one egg fried in salsa verde, the other in salsa roja). The plates come with rice, beans, and coffee and go for $12. And even more exciting for the cavernous space that cries out to be a bustling drinkery, the spot received notice that it will be awarded its beer-and-wine license by mid-March. We hope the folks down at Kelso have already started brewing those custom-made Mexican beers!
