First Look at Baotique, Michael Huynh’s Latest Vietnamese Venture

Michael “Bao” Huynh is getting ready to open a Vietnamese-Thai joint, Andy ‘n’ Bao, in the Orchard Street space that briefly held Bia Garden and was at one point poised to hold Chinito, but you know that isn’t the only thing keeping him busy: Last week he opened a restaurant, Baotique, inside of midtown lounge Covet. The “Modern Vietnamese” menu below will be available in the 66-seat dining room Monday through Saturday, from 4 p.m. onward, and it’ll be complemented by desserts from Pichet Ong of Spot Dessert Bar and cocktails from Orson Salicetti of Apothéke.
