Speaking of the sly Mr. FoxUbuntu, the vegetarian restaurant next to the Napa yoga studio where he made his name, and wherefrom he departed last year about this time, is still chugging along quite nicely. Under the helm of executive chef Aaron London, who trained under Fox, the place has weathered the loss of its original star, and Michael Bauer gave his stamp of approval last summer, renewing the restaurant’s three stars. Today Food Gal’s Carolyn Jung admits she never dined there during Fox’s tenure, but she says the dishes she recently had were all as vivid as “a Versace fashion show on a plate,” and “the flavors are shockingly bold, developed and complex.”

See a series of photos that she was kind enough to share with us by clicking on the slideshow.
