A Look at Issac Rivera’s New Menu at Il Sole

Il Sole is now reopen with the help of The Hills supporting player, Trousdale partner, and celebrity selector Brent Bolthouse, along with the venue’s owners, music manager and Graffiti Bridge producer Arnold Stiefel and Hollywood Bowl booker Andy Hewitt. All three shared the job of redesigning the space with the intent of making the West Hollywood romantic look a little cooler and have added tufted banquettes and a pressed tin ceiling among the cosmetic changes, while chef Issac Rivera has added more regional Italian antipasti and pasta plates to the restaurant’s menu. A special menu of daily crudo offerings will also be available, along with imported Dover sole, Maine lobster in homemade ravioli, spaghetti with Tuscan ragu, and zuppa di vongole, while mainstays like a New York steak Robespierre are still served.
