Zucca Starts a Restaurant Within A Ristorante

Downtown’s Zucca Ristorante has been keeping a new mini-restaurant as a low-key secret since its debut this fall. Called Piazza, al fresco dining takes place on the restaurant’s patio and, unlike Zucca, is open for lunch all the way through dinner service from 11:30 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Also, quite unlike Zucca, this one keeps its prices at twelve dollars and under. The dishes being served are more along the lines of small plates and antipasti, with prosciutto crudo, mozzarella and olive with parma, burrate, and olives, panini, calamari fritta, and smaller versions of the restaurant’s pizzas.
